Schoellerbank awarded several times as first-class private bank of Austria

The "Handelsblatt Elite Report", the most comprehensive bank test in the German-speaking world, selected the elite of asset managers in Salzburg on 27 November 2023. Banks from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein were analysed in detail for the 21st time. The editorial team tested a total of 367 providers in the current test season.

Schoellerbank was once again awarded "Summa cum Laude" and for the twelfth time ranks among the first-class banks in the German-speaking region.

Hans-Kaspar von Schönfels, Elite Report editor-in-chief, on the long-standing leading traditional bank from Austria: "Specialising in wealth has an amazingly long tradition at this bank. That's why "The best for your assets" seems more than logical as a motto. Asset management, wealth planning and personalised investment advice are firmly established in the range of services. The holistic approach is as convincing as the structured investment process. This benefits not only the in-house funds, which are often used in asset allocation, but also wealthy private clients. We also benefit from our in-house Group research."

In addition, the renowned US financial magazine Global Finance, headquartered in New York, recently honoured the leading private banks at the "World's Best Private Banks Awards". With the Private Bank Awards, Global Finance honours banks that best meet the special needs of wealthy private individuals who want to increase, preserve and pass on their assets. Schoellerbank was honoured as "Best Private Bank in Austria" for the ninth time in a row.

Helmut Siegler, CEO of Schoellerbank: "These latest awards are not just praise and recognition for the achievements of our employees. They spur us on to successfully continue the 190-year tradition of our bank. The fact that a bank can successfully survive on the financial market over such a long period of time is not a matter of course. We are firmly convinced that the reason for this continued success lies in our sustainable expertise, proven over many years, and our trusting client relationships. For us, managing assets is not just a service, but a vocation that we have pursued with conviction for generations. We will continue to provide our clients with the best possible answers to all wealth-related questions and maintain and further expand our relationships with them at the usual high level."
